Question: Guruji, Hanuman was the biggest devotee to the Lord Rama, why is it that we don’t get to see Him any more?
Guruji: You don’t get to see Him any more because He has settled in your heart!! And he wants you to look into your heart. Whatever fear of Lanka you have in your mind he wants you to get rid of it, and He is making the tail and the fire ready to burn it!!

When the atmarupi Ram(referring to Sri Rama as the self) wants to meet the maanrupi Sita(referring to Sita as the mind), then devotion (referring to Hanuman) should take over to burn fear(referring to Lanka) by destroying Ravana(Ego) with the help of Laxmana(awareness). In such a place, Victory is confirmed!!! And that day becomes the Dashere and Diwali. So there is a Dashera and a Diwali happening everday in our life!! (laughter!!)

The breath is compared to Hanuman and Rama is the soul and Sita is the mind. When the soul lost the mind, it could not get directly in touch with the mind so it needed the help of hanuman the breath/prana. On the shoulder of the breath, the awareness that is Laxman and athma that is Rama, they both rode on the should of hunman and got Sita back. Without the help of Hanuman, Sita could not be found. Sita was in the grip of rakshasa that is negative force. The breath comes to help the mind.

When Sita (mind), gets attracted by the Deer (sense objects), it comes under the clutches of Ravan (the ego) and goes away from Rama (the Self); then with the help of Laxman (awareness) and Hanuman (the breath), it is freed from Ravan (the ego) and united with Rama (the Self). ~ Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
