When Insiders Expose the Ugly Side of the Entertainment Industry by vigilantcitizen.com … from Susannah

This article documents some of today’s well-known artists who have gone on record and spoken about the dark side of the entertainment industry. Some of the industry’s biggest stars, including Dave Chappelle, Michael Jackson and Bob Dylan, have hinted at the true nature of the business in their own words. Here are some of my findings.

Throughout my articles, I discuss many dark aspects of the entertainment industry. Some of these aspects are so awful and improbable to the average reader that they become hard to believe, especially when the information comes from an anonymous blogger such as myself. Some actual celebrities have however gone on record with some truths on the industry. Those rare outbreaks are rarely publicized but, they are available online. So, for this article, I’m letting the insiders do the talking. Who is better placed to talk about the entertainment business than the entertainers themselves, those who have experienced first hand all facets of the business?

Although most artists will not use the terms “mind control” or “occult initiation,” they are explaining, in their own words, the strange realities they are witnessing. These are some videos I’ve found.  I hope they’ll work for everyone.

Warning: Some of these videos are disturbing or contain foul language.

Dave Chappelle

This stand-up comedian, screenwriter, producer and actor is most famous for creating Chappelle’s Show, a ground-breaking sketch comedy television series which ran on Comedy Central until 2006. The DVD set is currently the all-time best-selling DVD for a television show, having sold more than three million copies. Its early success prompted Viacom (Comedy Central’s parent company) to offer Chappelle a $55 million contract for the production of two more seasons of Chappelle’s Show. The production of season 3 was extremely difficult, however, as Chappelle did not like the direction the show was taking. He even referred to it as being “socially irresponsible.” Chappelle also had troubles coping with the pressure coming from network executives to compromise and dumb-down his show.

On May 2005, Chappelle abruptly left the production of season 3 of the show and traveled to Africa. A media frenzy ensued, fueled by speculation and rumors of Chappelle “going crazy” and being on drugs. Upon his return, Chappelle was interviewed on Inside the Actors Studio in December 2005. He discussed many subjects, including his reasons for leaving for Africa. In this next portion of the interview, Chappelle describes in a very vivid matter the “sick” nature of Hollywood.

Keep in mind the portion of the interview where Chappelle talks about Mariah Carey and her losing her mind. She and her “handler” Tommy Mottola will again be mentioned by another fairly known celebrity later in this article.

In an interview with Oprah, Dave Chappelle shares his own theory concerning black comedians being forced to cross-dress at one point or another during their career.  The following video compares Chappelle’s story with 2Pac during the filming of Poetic Justice.

Selling One’s Soul to the Devil

“Selling one’s soul” can be defined as allowing one’s integrity, values and moral code to be defiled in order to obtain riches and success. Considering the occult aspect of the industry, “selling one’s soul” can take a more literal meaning, as there exist actual ritualistic initiations and obscure secret societies working in the shadows. Some artists, who have been more or less in contact with that darker side of Hollywood, have spoken on the subject in their own words.

In the next video, model and actress Melyssa Ford discusses the price of fame in Hollywood.

In the next video, singing legend Bob Dylan explains on 60 Minutes the reason for his longevity in the music business.

What is Katy Perry referring to in this next video? Is “selling one’s soul to the Devil” the folksy way to say I’ve been initiated into the Illuminati industry?

Michael Jackson

Who better than the King of Pop to speak the truth about the music industry? I’ve been asked numerous times about Jackson’s involvement in the Illuminati industry and the causes of his death. I’ve never attempted to write an article on the subject, as his career was incredibly long and filled with astounding events and requires more than just a summary survey.

What is obvious, however, is that MJ, in his last years, was becoming increasingly outspoken on the shady dealings of the music industry. Indeed, it seems the man who was the ultimate Illuminati slave was attempting to break free. In June 2002, Michael Jackson, gave an unexpected speech about the dark side of the entertainment business.

Jackson directly points to Tommy Mottola, the ex-president of Sony Music and the ex-husband of Mariah Carey, who was less her husband than an actual mind control handler. Did “the Devil” get back at MJ for speaking the truth?

Is there a symbol of MJ’s ritual sacrifice on the omniously titled “This Is It” released by… Sony?

Monarch Programming Caught on Tape

Sometimes without even knowing it, celebrities expose the ugly side of the entertainment industry through their actions. I have discussed in numerous articles the existence of mind control in entertainment industry and its symbolism in popular art, and people have asked me if the artists I discuss are actual mind control victims or if they are just performing art that incorporates mind control symbolism. It is obviously difficult to determine which celebrities are actual victims of monarch programming  but some rare footage has appeared showing some celebrities switching mind-control “alters” or personalities. Those videos are quite a disturbing display, but reflect the unfortunate reality of the mass entertainment industry.

ANNA NICOLE SMITH

In the next video, model and actress Anna Nicole Smith is filmed while one of her Monarch alters is switched on. In this disturbing home video, filmed by her handler Howard K. Stern, Anna-Nicole is completely dissociated and child-like.  Media outlets claimed Anna Nicole was under the influence of drugs during the taping of the video, which was probably the case. Drugs alone cannot explain her state of mind, however, as there are obvious symptoms of profound psychological trauma.

Anna-Nicole Smith has clearly an “alter” personality switched on who firmly believe that a doll is actually a real baby. The clown makeup (probably ordered by Stern himself to give the video more impact), reinforces the concept of alter personality in a sick display of manipulation by a handler. Notice in this CNN report that Geraldo refers to Smith as being “in character,” another term to explain an alter personality.

This video only reports one of the many bizarre events toward the end of Anna Nicole Smith’s life. Her entourage and environment was totally foul. It is not a coincidence Smith often posed as Marilyn Monroe during her career: Monroe was the original “mind controlled” sex-symbol.

Looking at the circumstances surrounding the death of her 20-year-old son Daniel in 2006, we can find another example of the trauma-based mind control Anna Nicole was subjected to. The death indeed appears to be a ritual sacrifice. Daniel died in Anna Nicole’s hospital room, right in front of her, only three days after she gave birth to her third baby. Here’s how the authorities described Daniel’s death.

“It would appear from our report that the mother had gotten up, saw him in the chair and he appeared to be sound asleep. She tried to wake him up, he was unresponsive, and she sounded the alarm.”
- Source

After witnessing the miracle of birth, Anna was forced to witness the death of her son in her own room. Daniel death was later attributed to the “presence of three types of prescription drugs in his system” and was considered “suspicious”. The event caused a violent trauma in Anna Nicole, and reports say she was then heavily sedated. She then dissociated from reality (the goal of Monarch mind control programming) and even lost memory of the event.

“The devastation and grief over Daniel’s sudden death coupled with the sedation has been so extreme that Anna Nicole experienced memory loss of the event,” attorney Michael Scott said.

This is just an example of the disturbing events surrounding Anna-Nicole Smith’s life. Many more details could be discussed in a later article perhaps.

BRITNEY SPEARS

In this 2003 interview with Diane Sawyer, Britney seems to momentarily switch alters in what seems to be a “mind control glitch”.

The episode of her breaking down and shaving her head might have been an attempt to break free from her mind control manipulation. Reality is indeed WAY stranger than fiction.

In Conclusion

What more can I say?

Afro-Pop Art: Politics, Life and Lyrics by Ghariokwu Lemi

Afro-Pop Art: Politics, Life and Lyrics by Ghariokwu Lemi
As the title says… it is a visual commentary or issues ranging between politics, life and lyircs in a pop-art style… all by a legendary Nigerian artist by the name of Ghariokwu Lemi.

When it came to first impressions I was confused. The exhibition was set in a couple of barges. One for the art, the other one was for food, drink, music and had a screen with Lemi’s old and new work being projected. As Shanell caught up with Lemi all I could see was photoshopped print outs that that did have a great message but they were still photoshopped prints cut out and pasted. In fact one was a colorized email forward! As I was introduced to Lemi he explained taking a new direction so that was good to hear and what an amazing person himself… always lively and happy… and he’s like that sober. I warm up to his work as Shanell tells me about his past work and how she was his personal photographer touring in the USA. Even she was surprised by this new direction because his previous work was more detailed and more hands on instead of digital. There’s images of Michael Jackson and also one of Barak Obama in the campaign style posterization called Red, Blue and Black. Another one with someone getting stoned and I forgot to ask Lemi what NNG means coz the person smokes those letters out. The one I was really impressed with was one of Fela Kuti where it’s mostly colorized clips from papers about the star and Lemi but it took me a while to make out the face of Fela Kuti on it. And then there were the series of solidarity in 3 square images called Union, Unity and Unite… at first I thought it was saying something about the UN in Africa but after reading their names it all fell in place lol.

Anyway so head for some drink, snacks and chit chat. Note: There were normal snacks and also cherry tomatoes and Fox mints? I must admit I scoffed on the tomatoes. I come across a dude called Aj and he gives me his card… I see what he does… and it’s like his card itself had all the magic words… “music + art + creativity”… I’ll definitely be in touch dude. He was also the DJ and I noticed the deck had a telephone handset… nice touch! As I look at the screen I see Lemi’s old work and now I’m hooked… this guy has done a number of Fela Kuti’s album covers. Shanell mentions him working for Puma. And then I get a hold of his program and read through his biography… major props man! Cartoonist for the papers, 26 iconic covers for Fela Kuti, more covers for another record label. By 2000 he’d created 2000 album covers! Political cartoons, commissioned by MTV to paint a mural in New York, Stussy releases 4 of his designs for limited edition T-shirts, lots of exhibitions, awards… wow… this guy left me inspired. All that work, especially on such serious subjects, and he’s still so happy-go-lucky? Then again art does that and more. Big up Shanell and big up Lemi.

Gay Icons and BP Portrait Award 2009

Gay Icons and BP Portrait Award 2009
Joanne, my lovely new friend I met on gumtree, treated me to the National Portrait Gallery and I’m so glad she did.

Gay Icons
========
From the brochure: This exhibition brings together ten selectors, chaired by Sandi Toksvig, each of whom is a prominent gay figure in contemporary culture and society. Each selector was asked to name six people, who may or may not be gay, whom they personally regard as inspirational, or an icon for them. These people provide a fascinating range of figures – some heroic, some very famous, others less well known.

So yeah it was pretty cool to read about these folks and their stories and why they were chosen etc. Couple of things that stood out to me… 1 – Nashville had more of an issue with k. d. lang being a vegetarian than being homosexual! 2 – There was a picture of another figure taken when arrested and the mugshot said he was accused of being a gay terrorist?!?!?

The selectors were – Waheed Alli, Alan Hollinghurst, Elton John, Jackie Kay, Billie Jean King, Ian McKellen, Chris Smith, Ben Summerskill, Sandi Toksvig and Sarah Waters.

BP Portrait Award 2009
=================
All I can say is… flabbergasting. Jo and I were walking around like jaw dropped zombies amazed ad most of the paintings look like the real thing/photograph (or it could be we just needed sleep :oP). Even with the different lighting the artists used they still managed to make it look totally real, the details were crazy. Oh and folks would gather at this one painting and upon closer inspection you could see it was the detail in the colorful sweater. In fact check it out at http://www.npg.org.uk/bp-portrait-award-20091/downloads.php
Mega big up to Jo for the treats.

At Your Own Risk – A Saint’s Testament by Derek Jarman

At Your Own Risk – A Saint’s Testament by Derek Jarman
This guy is just oozing creativity… well he’s dead now but will live on through his work especially in the gay scene. He was a painter, theatre designer, author, film-maker, set designer, costume designer, production designer, AIDS activist, and a Saint… But we’ll get to Saint bit in a bit. The book is his autobiography, and not only about him but the social lives and differences of what he calls heterosoc and of course homosexuals. It also includes a lot of articles from the media and how they blow everything out of proportion (as always). Basically each chapter is a decade and each decade is made clear with a montage of articles, states or minds in that time and his own look and experience on it. What I really loved about his writing style (and try to do the same in my stuff) was the blatancy and rawness but at the same time keep the mood light or not too overwhelming, no matter how outrageous and offensive it may seem.

Chapters:
1940’s – mostly articles about the gays in the Military and how they would be handled etc. And how some of them would be rent boys (Rent boy = gigolo or gay gigolo). Before I go any further please note this wont be the best review as dudes writing was kinda confusing at times and also there are so many snippets so there were not many predictable patterns that set the tone for a book.

1950’s – the only note I have is about the guy that decoded the Enigma Code was gay. Maybe the big guns turned a blind eye, maybe they used him and then treated him like all the other gay folks… can’t really remember.

1960’s – something about oldies. Dude’s first visit to a queer pub. Oh yeah gays back then must have been so messed up coz if they came out, Heterosoc would make their life hell, families would disown them, etc. Until artists intervened. Laws changed and it felt like it was ok to be gay in the open but the police started giving them drama by raiding clubs and all sorts. Now Jarman keeps talking about the Heath… I guess that’s where most guys went ‘cruising’(cruising = walking, driving, browsing in known areas just for sex). And there’s some story of how the firemen would have a locking and invite gay folks in their pool after the gays had finished clubbing and shlack. Note: Any hetero that his not yet been hit on by gay folks wont even realize this but there are more closet gays than you think. For some reason I get confused as one too and, boy, the homies I found out were gay… I mean some of my gangsta-est clubbing buddies. Back to the book, before I start naming names lol. Finally gays had it. Too many were being injured or killed by homophobic hate crimes… so they had a riot. They shook the city up man! My favourite line in the whole book is when Derek talks about the Transexuals being way more violent, aggressive and just more lethal in such situations. The line went something like a dress was basically a badge of courage. And how right he is! There are lots and lots of stories of the wild sex kind but the craziest one was about… dude goes to see his bootie call and ended up in an orgy with his friend and friends dad.

1970’s – founding of the Gay Liberation Front, gay politics, manifestos, the gay manual, the drugs, baths, saunas. Special note about the hamstrings but can’t remember and really can’t be bothered. I’m really sorry. Media making it worse with stupidity and spreading the wrong awareness about AIDS. Calling it the gay cancer. The circle of death as more and more known gay folks were dying of AIDS. Pasolini, Wilde, etc.

1980’s – New AIDS acronym – Arse Injected Death Syndrome. I personally prefer Prasheel’s version – Another Idiot Discovered Sex… or was it All Interested Die Soon? Anyway… More misleading quotations from the media. Doctors were making it even worse coz if they knew their patient was gay they’d tell the patient he already was HIV+ so as to stop them from ‘funking around’. So many more deaths of Derek’s friends it’s like he never knew when he’d see them next. So he has a little Lamentation section in memory of quite a few of his friends, the memories he shared of them and a kind word or two… or not. The Sun whipped up the most flames with the most ignorant headlines and articles which were so far away from the truth. And so many pages were dedicated to such articles and headlines. And how Derek finds out he’s infected too how the kiss or death was his kiss of life. Living the life of an AIDS infected gay man, interviews on the subject and the like.

1990’s – Derek is canonised by the gay order of nuns (the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence) for his films and books and very sexy nose as Saint Derek of Dungeness of the Order of Celluloid Knights. Don’t ask. Some poems and a deep meaningful goodbye to the world.

An Appendix – Which was basically information sent to him by his friends who were involved in the struggle for civil rights. Stuff about Hetero Hero (Magic Johnson) admitting he has AIDS and turned into all-American Hero by the president. While Homo Weirdo (Freddie Mercury) dies 24 hours after his public statement and how the tabloids heave into action. Statistics of criminal injustice even though being gay was not a crime anymore. Queer Policing. Tax money issues. Something that looks like a constitution, laws, rights, demands and bills for gay folks and folks with HIV. And that’s it.

Oh no wait… there are 2 sections in the book with black and white pictures. Don’t know what they are there for. I could do the research but I’m knackered after an amazing weekend and I still gotta review an audio book and take notes on the book I just started. All I can say is big up Genie for the book and even through I used to have fun using terms like fudge-packers, fairies, etc… I’ll definitely tone it down after this new found respect and awareness of the gaylord’s struggles and how far they’ve come ;o)

Hip Hop Colony (Kenyan Documentary)

Hip Hop Colony: Went for the screening for this ‘movie’ about how hip hop jumped in the Kenyan scene, difficulties artists have, controversy, how producers and stars try to keep it alive and what their next steps are. One things for sure the artists have SKILLS. I was so inspired I started thinking up lyrics again. Unfortunately my UK lyrical miracle book seems kinda… dry. Whatever you do… please don’t get bootleg/pirate copies coz the artist focus their vocals for us so the least we could do is help em stay in and step up the game. I’s well impressed with Bamboo… he’s like the Wananchi Jay-Z. Best/Bad Bit: After watching stuff like this I feel that pull of music… don’t know if it’s a good thing or bad thing coz I start feeling that itch. One sweet day… one sweet day. Note: Added my lyrics at the bottom for copyright reasons.
