– When he was having sex with a girl and thought she was having an incredible orgasm, it turned out to be an asthma attack.
– Bollocks actually means priest or rubbish.
– Goes to Esso for funding and says he’s so happy to be working with BP.
– When Branson has a convo with the cab driver and does not recognise him as Phil Collins. I’m still not sure if thats what Phil did in his spare time or what?!
– Empty blacked out Baghdad rescue mission? I’m guessing it’s something to do with Branson being a success in the Baghdad rescue mission and blacked out?
– His battle with British Airways was so bad. I don’t know how he kept sane. They really played a lot of dirty tricks to keep their routes.
– His success at signing Janet Jackson.
– After winning with BA he thought about taking on coke with Virgin Cola.
– Changing business lots of times.
– Kept a notebook and lists. Which explains why the book was so meticulously chronological.
– Branson says in the end it’s all the same just the scale changes.
– Guy Snowden tries to bribe Branson.
– Priority to staff.
– Lots of advice.
– Timeline of all major events.
So there. What I was most touched about the book was how his parents encouraged the children to be entrepreneurs even as kids. There are so many other projects he took on in his younger years. Great book and big up Doc for the recommendation.
